THOUGHT FOR FOOD: NUTRITION AND LIFE ON TOMORROW’S PLANET

For the 2017 winter edition, CARE’s presents two new events, the CARE’s Talks, featuring some of the most important personalities from the worlds of food, wine, agriculture, enterprise, architecture and the environment.
These encounters will be moderated by journalist Fernanda Roggero.

DIET AND HEALTH: INNOVATIVE RESPONSES TO CLIMATE CHANGE

In recent decades, climate change has affected not only the activities that are most closely linked to the weather and environmental conditions – primarily agriculture – but also everything that derives from farming.
Should seasonal produce perhaps be readapted? What policies should be adopted to mitigate and adapt to climate change in order for the long supply chain from field to table to benefit? Which kinds of animal husbandry and alternative farming fit best with a healthy diet?
